Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pagr ("Service"), operated by MNM Medieproduksjon AS, NO 898 808 432 MVA ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Pagr is a web hosting platform that allows users to upload and share HTML files via short URLs on the uc.pagr.link domain. Uploaded files are accessible publicly by default. Pagr is not intended for end-user websites requiring ongoing maintenance — it is designed for one-off HTML documents, reports, AI-generated pages, prototypes, and similar static content.

2. Account Registration

You must register for an account to upload files. Authentication is handled by Clerk. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Plans and Payment

Pagr offers three plans:

Free — up to 5 files, 1 MB per file, Pagr branding on all pages.
Pro — up to 100 files, 50 MB per file, no Pagr branding, password-protected pages, custom slugs, analytics.
Team — up to 500 files, 50 MB per file, all Pro features, 90-day analytics history.

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. Prices are in USD or local currency and exclude applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your billing dashboard; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload or share content that:

Is illegal under applicable law, or facilitates illegal activity.
Infringes any third party's intellectual property rights.
Contains malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm systems or users.
Is designed to phish, deceive, or impersonate other persons or organisations.
Constitutes spam or unsolicited mass communication.
Contains child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualises minors.
Promotes or incites violence, terrorism, or hatred against protected groups.
Violates any person's privacy or shares personal data without consent.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without prior notice, at our sole discretion.

5. Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of all content you upload. By uploading content to Pagr, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, serve, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service. We do not claim any ownership over your files and will not use them for any other purpose.

6. File Storage and Availability

Files are stored on Cloudflare R2 infrastructure. We make reasonable efforts to maintain availability but do not guarantee uptime. Files from free accounts that have been inactive for more than 12 months may be removed after notice. We reserve the right to impose storage limits consistent with your plan at any time.

7. API and CLI Access

All plans may access the Pagr API and CLI tools. API keys are personal and must not be shared or embedded in publicly accessible code. You are responsible for all usage under your API key. Plan-level feature restrictions (custom slugs, password protection, analytics) apply equally to API requests. We reserve the right to revoke API access that is used in violation of these Terms or that causes excessive load on our infrastructure.

8. DMCA and Copyright

If you believe that content hosted on Pagr infringes your copyright, please contact us at legal@getpagr.co with a description of the infringing material, your contact information, and a statement that the complaint is made in good faith. We will investigate and remove infringing content as required by applicable law.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your uploaded content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page, which will remove your files and data. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and we may delete your files and data.

13. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the application. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Norway, unless mandatory consumer protection legislation in your country of residence grants you additional rights.
